Westfield Health has pledged a further £50,000
donation to help fund a new cystic fibrosis ward at Sheffield’s Northern
General Hospital.
Westfield discovered that the £1 million appeal,
established by Sheffield Hospitals Charity to fund a new specialist adult ward
at the Northern General hospital, had yet to reach its target.
The extra donation means that the company has
contributed £100,000 towards the appeal.
Graham Moore of Westfield Health says “Good
health is invaluable, but unfortunately cystic fibrosis sufferers have to
battle with their health throughout their lives. We support the new ward so
that we can help make life easier for patients during their frequent stays in
hospital.”
