A new study has revealed that high flying men and women are using cosmetic surgery to get ahead in their careers.
The survey showed that 30 per cent of female executives and 17 per cent of male execs have undergone various cosmetic surgery procedures to help boost their career prospects and gain confidence at work.
And a whopping 54 per cent of women and 50.6 per cent of men would consider having cosmetic treatments if it would help them to get ahead in their jobs.
Popular male procedures included cosmetic dentistry which 26.6 per cent of men opted for, followed by eye-bag removal and hair transplant procedures which accounted for 7.4 per cent of men.
21.5 per cent of women favoured cosmetic dentistry to achieve a winning smile and non-invasive treatments such as BOTOX™ proved popular with 9.5 per cent of women receiving the injections to gain a more youthful appearance.
Women also choose to improve their looks with 8.5 per cent undergoing liposuction and six per cent getting a facelift for a rejuvenated and fresher look.
For those who want to improve their looks The Hospital Group offers a variety of anti-ageing treatments including BOTOX™ and facelifts, as well as surgical procedures such as liposuction and breast augmentation to help patients achieve their dream body.
David Ross, Chief Executive of The Hospital Group said: “Many men and women undergo surgery to get ahead in their careers. They often find that improving an area of themselves that they have always felt self conscious about, such as their teeth, can give them a new lease of confidence which applies to every aspect of their life.
“If somebody has felt upset about the appearance of their teeth, getting them whitened or straightened with a brace or set of veneers can dramatically change their mindset and give them the assurance needed to pursue their goals.
“At The Hospital Group we offer cosmetic dentistry as well as cosmetic surgery procedures such as liposuction and facelifts. All procedures are performed in state-of-the-art facilities by expert surgeons who are dedicated to helping patients achieve the very best results.”
