Recent research suggests that 80 per cent of skiers who didn't take a skiing holiday last season are returning to the slopes for the 2009-10 season. Post Office Travel Insurance urges travellers setting out for the slopes to check that their annual travel insurance policies haven't expired and to check the small print on their travel insurance policy to make sure they have the required levels of cover for all proposed winter sports activities. Many standard travel insurance policies do not cover winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding.
