The One Stop Day Surgery Centre, part of a prestigious independent private surgery on 108 Harley Street, is to be renamed.
Rechristened The London Skin Clinic, it is hoped that the clinic's new name will offer potential patients a clearer idea of the private
dermatology treatments on offer.
To coincide with the new name, a new dermatologist has been appointed to the clinic.
Dr Julia Scarisbrick is on the British Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and a member of the British Association of Dermatologists.
She undertook her dermatologist training at St Thomas' Hospital, University College London and the Hammersmith Hospital.
Her areas of interest include the treatment of skin cancer, a topic on which she has published widely.
The London Skin Clinic offers procedures for skin cancer and melanomas as well as treatment for less severe conditions such as allergies, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss and mole checks.
Dr Scarisbrick joins Dr Laurence Lever who currently works at the practice.
