Cosmetic surgery for men

The Harley medical Group - man
A significant chunk of cosmetic surgery patients at the Harley Medical Group are now men, new figures show.

The UK's largest cosmetic surgery provider revealed that 17.5 per cent of all patients are now men, confirming that it is becoming increasingly less unusual for males to go under the knife.

Lisa Littlehales, Harley Street Clinic manager, confirmed that the group is seeing an increase in male traffic, both for patient enquiries and actual treatments.

She revealed: "Non-surgical procedures are particularly popular with men, boosting treatments of PPx Aesthera, which is used to treat acne and sun damage.

"We're increasingly offering more male-friendly treatments such as laser hair removal to remove back, chest and facial hair and botox to treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)."

A recent report by the Harley Medical Group revealed that enquiries for botox treatments had increased by 21 per cent in the space of six weeks, largely as a result of people wanting to look their best for Christmas parties.
