Royal Liver has increased the maximum sum assured for its accelerated critical illness product to £1m.
The insurer made the move to ensure that those people seeking a high sum assured will not need a GP report, which was previously standard for that sum assured if a client was of a certain age.
Instead, tele-underwriting will be used to assess these policyholders.
