Patients want celebrity cosmetic surgery

Patients want celebrity cosmetic surgery

Clients in Beverly Hills are increasingly going to cosmetic surgery clinics and asking for facial features they admire on celebrities, it has been reported.

A new survey published by the Beverly Hills Institute of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery found that the three top features sought by patients are Katie Holmes' eyes, Angelina Jolie's lips and Jessica Biel's body.

Richard Fleming and Toby Mayer, doctors at the clinic, revealed that patients tend to ask for an individual feature of a particular celebrity, rather than simply wanting to look just like the person.

Mr Fleming told Reuters news agency: "Our patients continue to turn to Hollywood to raise their standard of beauty.

"Our patients want to look rested, energetic and, most of all, youthful like the celebrities they see in glossy magazines."

The trend is not confined to women, as many male patients visit the clinic wanting features such as Leonardo DiCaprio's nose and Matt Damon's lips.
