Aon Corp, the world's second-largest insurance broker, is selling Combined Insurance Company of America, an accident, health, and life insurer, to US insurer Ace.
Ace expects to more than double Combined's revenue growth within a few years.
The sale includes the UK subsidiary Combined Insurance, which may be kept separate at first, but in the longer term merged into Ace’s UK insurer.
