A surgeon in America has developed a new
cosmetic surgery technique for face-lifts that allows patients to have their operation under local anaesthetic.
The speedy procedure only takes about an hour and a half from beginning to end and recovery time is a mere three days.
During the Celebrity face life, patients will be treated to a mini face-lift, a geometric-design neck life and Radiesse injections which help to re-define the cheeks and jaw and fill in facial depressions.
Swelling is minimal, because instead of the usual eight inch entry points made on each side of the face, incisions of only two to three inches are cut, minimising operating and recovery time.
Dr Palmer, the surgeon from Beverly Hills who developed the technique explained: "Beauty isn't esoteric. It can be defined and recreated."
The pioneering doctor claims that 75 per cent of a person's facial attractiveness is found in their cheeks, seven to ten per cent is found in their eyes and five to seven per cent in lips.
