PruHealth offers free gym membership

PruHealth, the innovative private medical insurer, is offering six months free standard gym membership at either Holmes Place Health Clubs or Cannons Health and Fitness clubs to anyone signing up for PruHealth private health insurance before the 28th February 2006.

 

The six months free membership equates to a saving of up to £565 on the average cost of gym membership. Following expiry of the free offer the PruHealth customer can choose to continue membership for only £25 per month.

 

The offer does not apply to: Cannons City Clubs and Holmes Place Kensington, Mayfair, Broadgate and Canary Riverside Clubs.

 

In addition, PruHealth is offering up to 30 per cent off health insurance premiums for the first year, if customers answer six simple health and lifestyle questions when they apply for a quotation.

PruHealth launched in October 2004 and is the first private medical insurer to link the cost of health insurance premiums with the efforts people make to look after their health.

 

Activities such as going to the gym, walking, using preventative measures like going for health screens and assessments, all contribute to making this possible. Every gym visit improves fitness, which also contributes towards the amount people can save on their premiums at renewal.

 

Policyholders are provided with a range of incentives to get fitter, eat more healthily, quit smoking, improve their health awareness and go for screenings. This is achieved through partnerships with key health and fitness providers including: Holmes Place Health Clubs; Cannons Health and Fitness Clubs; Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop Smoking; HCA; Nuffield Screening and The Diagnostic Clinic; Roadtohealth (health screening); Champneys’ Health Resorts; and Active Europe (sporting events).
