It's what's on the inside that counts

Health cash plan provider HSA is urging people to make health a priority for 2009, and not let their health suffer even though times are tight.

The majority of the nation is unaware of how much they spend on their health according to HSA, despite knowing their outer appearance expenditure. This could mean that those everyday or unexpected health bills may not be budgeted for, making a trip to the dentist, optician or physiotherapist even more painful.

Abby Bowman from HSA comments: "Budgeting for a replacement winter coat or a regular haircut is a habit that most people have formed. But it appears that few people have formed the same good habits when it comes to health. During difficult financial times, it is more important than ever for people to add up the cost of their health, to help ensure they stay fit, healthy and at work. Budgeting for health is much easier than people might think and could prevent a hefty bill or time off work should health problems prolong or go undetected. For as little as £2.25 a week people can spread the cost of everyday health with a Health Cash Plan from HSA."
