Health-on-Line adds more choice to customers with new options

Health-on-Line, the online private medical insurance company, has added two new options to Personal Choice, giving you flexibility when choosing the right level of health insurance.

Mike Dalby comments, “We recognise that many individuals value the protection that health insurance can offer but are conscious of existing financial commitments. That is why we have introduced two new options that will enable individuals to have a direct impact on the premium they pay whilst continuing to offer an excellent level of cover.”

The design of Personal Choice allows you to tailor a plan to meet your needs by adding options to the core benefits. This core benefit covers some of the main costs associated with admittance to hospital. You can add other options such as out-patient cover or therapies. Each option attracts a specific premium load, allowing you to tailor a plan to your needs or budget.

The introduction of essential extra provides cover for a limited number of out-patient consultations and unlimited diagnostic tests and attracts a lower premium loading than the alternative out-patient options. The six-week option offers a substantial discount on the basis that you use the NHS for in-patient, day-patient and out-patient surgical procedures where the treatment can be delivered within 6 weeks.
