Groupama Healthcare goes back to the classroom

Groupama Healthcare is rolling out the next phase of its innovative customer service academy with a new pilot initiative involving A level students from the Priory School in Hitchin.

Employees will be given the opportunity to visit the Priory School to offer year 12 and 13 students valuable guidance on completing job applications as well as workshops about dealing with job interviews. Students will also be given the opportunity to put the guidance they have received into practice with an interview.  Finally, the students are given the experience of a two-day work placement at Groupama Healthcare where they will be mentored and coached by an employee.

Lisa Hall for Groupama Healthcare says, “We have been offering apprenticeships to school leavers for a number of years now so when the opportunity to work with the Priory School came up through our involvement with Herts Chamber of Commerce it was a natural next step.  We are offering valuable life skills to the students as they prepare to leave school and look for jobs.”
