Girls Aloud Sarah Harding admits lip fillers

Sarah Harding, Girls Aloud singer, has finally put an end to the speculation caused by photos of her appearing just after Christmas with fuller lips.

She chose the lip filler treatment to try and stop the ageing process.

In an interview with Fabulous magazine, she revealed: “It was a case of approaching my thirties and not feeling confident about that.  It was something that was on my mind a lot.”

A spokesperson from The Hospital Group said “Lip fillers are extremely popular at the moment.  Fuller lips are a very attractive feature and a pretty pout does help to lift and rejuvenate a person’s  appearance.

"At The Hospital Group, fillers are our second most popular treatment.  Only BOTOX is more popular.

"Modern day fillers are a lot more comfortable in use.  We use Juvederm, which incorporates a tiny amount of local anaesthetic, so that the injection process is incredibly comfortable.  Juvederm is also a temporary filler.  This does mean that the procedure will wear off over time and has to be repeated every 9 months or so.  However, because of their temporary nature, the modern day fillers are a lot safer to use with much lower risks than the previous permanent fillers and therefore appeal to a much wider audience.

"As well as being used to plump up the lips, fillers can also be used to fill out deep lines; for example between the eyebrows or the ‘marionette lines’ which run from the nose to the corners of the mouth.”

The Hospital Group offers anti-ageing treatments such as BOTOX and fillers with fully trained Aesthetic Nurses in clinics around the country.  A consultation is free.
