Foresters health insurers are not boring

When you buy a product through Foresters you become a member. Membership gives you access to a variety of Member Benefits. These Member Benefits include activities at 82 branches around the country.

A recent initiative is a special youth network group for younger members ACTIV8!, to show that branch activities are more than carpet bowls and dinner-dances.

The most recent ACTIV8! gathering was at the Snowdome in Tamworth for a weekend of snowboarding, snow mobiling and ice-skating; a great time was had by all. Ben Large, who went along for the weekend said, “ACTIV8! is a great opportunity for younger Foresters - I have had a fantastic time this year at ACTIV8! events.”

So far ACTIV8! members have also enjoyed a breakaway challenge weekend at Glenborrodale in Scotland.

Foresters is not a typical health insurer. They don't have shareholders. This means they can focus their efforts on serving their members and giving back to children and communities.

Each year Foresters help more than 17 million children through partnerships with Children's Miracle Network (North America) and Barnardo's Children's Charity (United Kingdom) and other charitable organisations.

Every month, Foresters branches organise local events. Foresters help communities by raising funds for charities and local projects, by volunteering time and by helping members who need support.
