BMI Healthcare announces the appointment of Paul McPartlan
as the new Executive Director of BMI The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor,
Berkshire.
Paul’s move to BMI The Princess Margaret Hospital
complements an already impressive career. Paul is no stranger to BMI
Healthcare as he is also Executive Director at BMI The Runnymede Hospital in
Chertsey. Paul took up the position there last Autumn and will now oversee the
smooth running of both hospitals. Previously, Paul had
a successful period as Executive Director of BMI Three Shires Hospital in
Northampton.
Paul, a father of four, has a wealth of commercial and
financial experience gained across several industry sectors. Many of Paul’s
previous roles have had a strong sales and operational focus, primarily in
private healthcare for Nuffield Heath and Ramsey Healthcare. He brings a strong
commercial focus from the leisure industry, where he has worked for Whitbread,
David Lloyd Leisure and Nuffield Health and Wellbeing. Paul’s most recent role
was a successful spell as Manager of Peterborough’s private hospital, The
Fitzwilliam.
Paul’s strategic experience gained across different private
healthcare organisations will allow him to work closely with consultants and
the hospital’s staff. This will further improve BMI The Princess Margaret
Hospital’s services while developing the hospital’s relationships with local
NHS providers and commissioners. Paul will lead BMI The Princess Margaret
Hospital through an exciting yet challenging time with a strong partnership
with The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.
BMI The Princess Margaret Hospital provides private patient
services as well as an option for NHS patients to be treated through the choose
and book network.
Paul said: ‘I’m delighted
to be joining BMI The Princess Margaret Hospital. It’s a great opportunity to
work in a hospital that has an established reputation with excellent
facilities, but somewhere I know I can use my skills to build and develop new
services and pathways. I also believe we can create an environment where best practice is
shared across both hospitals.’
