BMI Healthcare, of which BMI The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow is a part of, has seen a 102 per cent increase in enquiries from patients looking to undergo a cosmetic procedure since the start of the New Year. The biggest growth was seen in enquiries concerning gynaecomastia or ‘man-boob’ surgical procedures, which saw enquiries rise by 211 per cent, while for women, breast augmentation enquiries rose by an equally impressive 179 per cent. In reaction to this increased interest which is likely spurred on by people adopting the “New Year, New You” ethos, surgeons at [hospital] are urging those looking into cosmetic surgery options to take great time and care when making the decision to go under the knife.
Mr David Crawford Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at The Clementine Churchill Hospital gives the following tips to anyone looking to undergo a cosmetic procedure in the New Year, “Each year around this time we see an increase in the number of enquiries we receive from patients eager to improve appearance in the New Year with a cosmetic procedure.
