More and more women are opting to have smaller breasts, according to a cosmetic surgery expert.
Liz Dale, director of the Harley Medical Group, told the Sun that more patients are asking to have their breasts moulded to a realistic cup size.
Ms Dale said: "Over 80 per cent of our patients now only ask for a cup increase of one to two sizes, whereas in the noughties more patients opted for a D cup than any [other] size."
The professional's opinion follows a survey from the cosmetic surgery group which found that more than half of women would rate a B or C cup as the "perfect breast size".
Comparing a range of British and American celebrities, the paper notes that the trend has grown on both sides of the Atlantic with a clear tendency for women to downsize their breasts - either from their natural chest size or a previous cosmetic augmentation.
