Cirencester Friendly Society reports an increase in income protection sales over the last year.
In tough economic times, income protection becomes even more important to people who are concerned about their job security and financial position.
Paul Hudson of Cirencester comments, "With limited financial support from many employers and savings rates at an all time low, coupled with stock market volatility, people can no longer rely on their investments or employment to support them if illness or accidental injury should happen. We are seeing many more enquiries as people demand the security provided by income protection.
