International expatriate insurance specialist William Russell has launched a promotion to give away one year’s free global travel insurance worth US$104 to new members taking out an individual Platinum GlobalHealth Elite plan for the first time in March 2009.
The promotion is designed to be attractive to family groups. A family of four can benefit from free travel insurance, saving US$416 in the first year in addition to the new ‘well-child’ benefit introduced for Platinum plan holders in 2009. This benefit provides cover for children’s routine vaccinations and developmental check-ups.
William Russell’s Global Travel Plan provides cover for baggage, personal effects and other travel insurance benefits during trips of up to 120 days outside the members’ country of residence in addition to the medical expenses and evacuation cover provided by the Platinum GlobalHealth Elite plan.
James Cooper, Sales Director, William Russell Limited says, “Our annual travel insurance is the perfect addition to our Platinum GlobalHealth Elite plan as it provides complete protection to expats and their families when they are travelling away from their country of residence and pre-booked trips within their country of residence. We are so convinced that our new members will recognise the value of additional travel insurance cover that we are giving it away free in March to all new GlobalHealth Elite plan members. After their free year members can continue to benefit from our Global Travel Plan at a very low cost because all the medical and evacuation insurance costs are already met by their health insurance plan. It is important for the whole family to be covered for travel insurance, which is why we have included one year’s free travel insurance with family Platinum plans. The combination of free travel insurance, together with our valuable new ‘well-child’ benefits, gives families an exceptional level of cover wherever they are in the world.”
