Axa to reduce critical illness premiums

Axa is set to follow Bupa and Fortis in reducing critical illness premiums in line with policy exclusions.

Several insurers have realized that customers can be put off critical illness cover when they realise they would still have to pay full premiums despite some conditions being excluded. It makes sense and it is fair if you are reducing the level of cover.

Other insurers will follow, while some are still considering it.

A few insurers are offering lame excuses why they see no reason to reduce the price if cover is reduced.
