People getting cosmetic surgeries in the UK have been on the rise since last year by 12 per cent, while breast implant surgery remained the most popular option, according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
Following breast surgery, with 6,847 operations of members in the association, was eyelid surgery, face or neck lifts, liposuction and breast reduction.
And while women made up 91 per cent of patients, men receiving rhinoplasty treatments rose more than a third to become the most popular option for men.
Liposuction was the second most popular choice for men, while eyelid, ear correction and neck or facelifts came next.
Douglas McGeorge, the association's president, said the continuing rise in operations showed that more people accepted cosmetic surgery.
"Wide media coverage has helped to educate the public about the latest advances and choices available, but it is crucial that people do their research carefully when choosing a provider."
