International health insurance provider William Russell has launched two new policies that replace the current range –
Global Health Elite for “comprehensive” worldwide cover and Global Health Essential for “cost-effective” regional cover.
Global Health Elite provides comprehensive cover, including cover for routine maternity care, dental treatment and preventive health screening. There are four options - Bronze, Silver, Gold and a new top-of-the-range Platinum plan.
The Global Health Essential plan covers only the essential, expensive elements of health care, such as hospitalisation, specialist medical treatment and emergency evacuation.
Inez Cooper, managing director of William Russell says: “Some people – particularly with families and in areas where there are good, but expensive, medical facilities – require comprehensive cover for a wide range of medical benefits, which our top-quality Elite plans provide. The needs of expatriates are becoming more diverse. Some simply want reassurance that if the worst happens – a serious accident, cancer or a heart attack – their inpatient bills and specialist care will be taken care of. Our Essential Care plan, for example, is priced approximately 18% less than our Elite Bronze plan, making affordable expatriate health care cover available to a wider audience.”
Both plans offer:
Discounts of up to 50% when you insure more than one child
Reduced premiums by increasing the excess
Prompt and responsive claim settlement
24-hour multi-lingual Emergency Medical Assistance Help-line
