Expats get access to Aetna’s network

Goodhealth Worldwide, which was acquired by Aetna in October 2007, is now offering its members access to Aetna’s Preferred Provider Organisation (PPO) network when they seek medical care in the United States.

Aetna’s PPO network is 4,771 hospitals and 807,000 physicians across the US. It is supported by the online provider directory DocFindA, which allows members to find a recommended doctor or medical professional, narrowing their search by specialty, gender or hospital as well as location. It also gives access to detailed provider information, such as languages spoken, board certification, medical school attended, office features and location guides.

"We are pleased to be able to provide Goodhealth members with broad access to high-quality hospitals, physicians and other medical providers through Aetna’s Preferred Provider Organisation network,” says Martha Temple of Aetna Global Benefits (AGB).
