Expatriate Healthcare launches rewards scheme

Expatriate Healthcare has introduced a reward scheme for both existing and new international customers offering discounts on premiums of up to 20 per cent. Premium Rewards are designed to reward customers who remain claim free by automatically discounting premiums. Discounts are applicable from the first year that a customer does not make a claim when they can earn a discount of up to ten percent. The discount then rises to 15 per cent after two years of no claims and then to 20 per cent after three years.  New customers can claim the discounts if they can prove that they have not made a claim with their current insurer.

There is also a new excess level of 5000 euro for customers who want to cover the most expensive medical events only; lowering the cost of their premium. The relaunched website offers an online quick quote facility for international cover on life, travel and income replacement insurances.

Lee Gerry of Expatriate Healthcare says, “We have taken the lead in the expatriate medical insurance market in introducing a reward based scheme. Our aim is to focus on offering value for money, in particular through offering a flexible range of policies that fit with individual requirements. As a company we have endeavoured to keep our premiums low, having only increased the cost of our premiums three times in the last seven years and choosing not to make annual increases like many other companies in the sector.”

Improvements to benefits across Expatriate Healthcare’s products include introducing optical care on the top level of cover, up to 30,000 euro palliative care, outpatient psychiatric care, family  compassionate cover and compassionate travel cover.
