MediCare International has a new voluntary excess
structure for international private medical insurance policies that can give
customers up to 50% discount on their premiums. You can choose one of four
policy co-share excess levels giving 10%, 20%, 35% or 50% discount.
David Pryor of MediCare International says,
"We have been looking now for some time at ways to reduce the cost of care
and told us that the quality of the care is paramount and should never be
compromised but for some, the option to co-insure and accept a proportion of
the costs in the event of a claim could be a very attractive feature."
