Now Health International, the international
private medical insurance provider, has published a guide for people planning
to move abroad for the first time.
The guide, ‘The New Expat’ provides a mine of
information on topics ranging from finance and health to specific issues
relating to family living and cultural differences. It sets out to answer many
of the most urgent issues including: managing money and tax, dealing with property
both home and abroad and selecting schools for children. The range of specific
topics also embraces driving abroad, looking after pets and, of course, and
taking care of the family’s health.
Alison Massey of Now Health says, “As a
first-time expat myself, now living in Hong Kong, I know that moving abroad can
be both an exciting and daunting time. Good planning makes an enormous
difference and we have pulled together help and advice from experienced sources
all over the world to help expats settle in and concentrate on the future.”
