The festive season is
now in full swing and it could be a challenging time of year for those who
suffer from sleep disorders.
According to the sleep guru from thesleepguru.co.uk Anandi, people should
ensure they do not over-exert themselves, as at this time of year some think
they will be able to get by on just several hours of sleep.
Partygoers should also be aware of how much alcohol they drink on a night
out, she advised, pointing out that it can have a detrimental impact on
slumber.
"Whilst alcohol might send you off to sleep quickly, alcohol effects
your sleep cycles and you will find that you will wake up in the early hours in
the morning," the expert said.
This follows recent research from Dream Beds, which indicated that tonight is most likely to see people struggling to get to sleep as they
worry about Christmas Day.
