Aviva deal with UAE insurer

Aviva has agreed a partnership with Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Insurance Company to offer expatriates based in the United Arab Emirates international private medical insurance.

From March 2012, Aviva customers in Abu Dhabi will be offered one of four products, so will no longer have to buy local insurance to satisfy visa requirements.

Aviva has also teamed up with Neuron in Dubai - to manage all claims for Aviva customers receiving treatment in the UAE.

Teresa Rogers of Aviva says, "Offering health insurance in the UAE is complex due to different legislative requirements across each of the Emirates."
