Aviva increases health insurance prices for Ireland
Aviva Healthcare Insurance Ireland has imposed a 10% rise for its popular Level 2 Everyday plan, with the new price taking effect from Christmas Eve. The increase for this plan will mean a family with two adults and two children will face an additional premium of €240, with the total cost rising to €2,642.
Aviva says this is the only plan that has gone up in price. The company will not comment on whether prices of other plans will increase, but it will be surprising in the current climate in Ireland, if other prices do not increase in 2011.
