The Portland Hospital has been awarded with the highest food hygiene rating of 5 stars by Westminster City Council as part of their annual inspections to ensure patient safety.
Since January 2006 Westminster City Council annually arrange for authorised officers from their environmental health departments to conduct inspections in public food premises to ensure that high standards are met.
The star ratings range from no stars allocated to premises with the worst unacceptable levels of food hygiene, through to five stars for the complete compliance and offering the best possible high standards of food management services.
