Discovery Home & Health will be broadcasting 20 consecutive episodes of a cosmetic surgery programme on Friday December 22nd, giving interested consumers an excellent opportunity to gain an insight into the procedures.

Plastic Surgery School will show two of Europe's leading cosmetic surgery experts, Nick Percival and Dai Davies, providing hands-on training for a group of qualified plastic surgeons between the hours of 12:00 and 22:00 GMT.

The procedures, which have been filmed at Europe's first dedicated cosmetic surgery academy, the Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery, will include face, eye, nose and breast operations, and the programme will follow the surgeons as they go about their duties, both in and out of the operating theatre.

Mr Percival hopes that the show will highlight the importance of being fully aware of what to expect from surgery, both physically and mentally.

"The ethos behind the institute is to provide first class, hands-on training to ensure the highest possible standards are maintained in the industry," he revealed.

"Plastic Surgery School provides viewers with an unprecedented insight into what is really involved in the process – from both a scientific and human perspective."
