The multi-award winning health cash plan provider picked up the accolade of Outstanding Business of the Year at the prestigious Sheffield Business Awards. Earlier this year Westfield completed an amazing award hat trick by winning the ‘Best Healthcare Cash Plan Provider’ category in the Health Insurance Magazine Awards, for the third consecutive year.
Westfield is the current holder of the Guardian and Observer Consumer Finance Awards ‘Best Health Insurance Provider’, having won the award in both 2004 and 2005. Westfield also scooped the ‘Healthcare Cash Plan Provider of the Year’ at the Employee Rewards and Benefits Magazine Awards 2006.
Westfield Executive Director Julie Gill says: “We’re delighted to have been named Outstanding Business of the Year. We’re extremely proud of our Sheffield roots and it means a lot to us to be recognised by our peers in the city business region, as well as our contemporaries in the cash plan marketplace. We’re constantly innovating and seeking new ways in which we can improve the business and our products for the benefit of our policyholders and these awards demonstrate that we’re achieving our objectives.”
Westfield’s success follows a record-breaking year, which has seen the number of customers rise to more than 345,000 with more than 8,000 organisations nationally operating a Westfield plan for their employees.
