Bupa Travel Services launch gap year cover for the over 35s

Bupa Travel Services is launching a new travel insurance policy for people over 35 who take a career break to travel the world. It will be an extension to the Explorer gap year cover for 17 to 35 year olds. At a gap year travel show in London, the insurer got a lot of enquiries from people over 35, particularly couples, who are taking a career break.

Cover is offered for trips between 3 and 18 months.

The policy will be promoted in March 2007 at One Life, an exhibition at Olympia for older workers taking a career break.
