Cosmetic dental treatment 'could benefit over a million'

Over a million people in the UK are suffering from tooth loss, it has been suggested.

The Brighton Implant Clinic has claimed that the condition is caused by various reasons which can include accidents, gum disease, decay or simply the natural ageing process.

However, the clinic highlighted the fact that people with teeth missing can find themselves struggling with a lack of confidence and low self-esteem.

Whereas the traditional treatments for tooth loss take months to complete, the clinic is suggesting its new All-On-4 treatment as an alternative cosmetic dental procedure which can replace several teeth in one day.

Some people may want to take steps to protect their own teeth early in life in order to prevent later difficulties.

Dentists recommend brushing at least twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste and avoiding too much sugary food and drink in order to keep teeth and gums in a healthy condition.
