Bupa ensures streamlined application process

Bupa Individual Protection has announced the launch of a new tele-interviewing service, following the success of a recent pilot scheme.

Market analysis has shown that tele-interviewing can:

  • Reduce the time it takes to process applications
  • Reduce the need to request further information from customers and their GPs
  • Improve the quality of the information disclosed

Chris Pollard at Bupa, comments: "Tele-interviewing benefits the consumer, and although we will continue to rely on the medical profession, tele-interviewing should reduce the volume of medical reports required. We are also pleased to be offering this service as a joint venture with Morgan Ash and the Bupa HealthLine operation. This should ensure that our customers receive a quality service experience."
