Breast augmentations are still the number one cosmetic surgery treatment taking place within the Harley Medical Group's (THMG) Irish clinics.
The cosmetic surgery provider revealed that the treatment has been number one for the past 23 years and remains the fastest growing sector of the industry.
Although augmentations are still the most popular procedures carried out in group's Irish clinics, there was also an increase recorded in the number of breast reductions as women look to achieve a slender figure.
Pauline Hughes, clinic manager at Dublin, commented: "There is a noticeable upward trend for post-breast feeding breast augmentation procedures.
"Thirty-one per cent of breast implant procedures performed at the THMG clinic over the past 12 months have been for women that come into this bracket.
"In the previous 12 months, this figure was in the region of 24 per cent."
However, the increase in size has changed over the years.
Just seven years ago, 46 per cent of augmentation patients chose to go up by three cup sizes.
But over the past 12 months the most popular size was an increase of two cups.
