BMI The Foscote Hospital in Banbury has been awarded an overall satisfaction score of 99.5 per cent by its patients for delivering excellent medical care and customer service.
According to an independent survey conducted by market research firm Howard Warwick Associates, during the period January 1st to December 31st 2010 The Foscote Hospital received 209 completed patient questionnaires. Of those patients responding, 99.5 per cent rated their overall quality of care as good, very good or excellent.
The survey measured patient satisfaction across a broad range of criteria including patients’ overall impression of admission, nursing, consultant care, imaging (X-ray) anaesthetists, theatre staff, accommodation and whether patients they were treated with respect and dignity.
Founded in 1981, The Foscote Hospital employs over 60 members of staff and work with 40 consultants. Its major specialties are Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, General surgery, Ophthalmology, Plastic, Cosmetic & Reconstructive surgery, Urology, Gastroenterology, Respiratory Medicine, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Radiology and Maxilla facial surgery.
