Blossoms improve occupational health services

Blossoms have provided screening and guidance to minimise the effects of drugs and alcohol for many years, predominantly as a risk management tool during the recruitment process, helping to make sure you recruit people who are fit for business.

Blossoms are always trying to find ways to add more value to the services they provide and have announced that they'll shortly be introducing same-day testing results for drug and alcohol tests, as well as extending the range of substances they can trace.

Most drug and alcohol screens cover benzodiazepines (common sedatives), methadone, cannabis, cocaine, amphetamines, barbiturates and opiates, however, Blossoms intend to screen for methamphetamines (including 'Ecstasy') and PCP.

Blossoms' investment in upgrading their testing facilities means they'll be able to provide positive or negative results within five minutes (whilst always retaining full chain of custody for any positive results requiring gas chromatography) as well as further detailed analysis when required.

This improvement to the response times and extension of the range of tests will come at no extra cost.
