Benenden supports two charities

Benenden Healthcare charities of the year for all employee fundraising in 2011 are the Alzheimer’s Society and St Leonard’s Hospice. Staff chose the two charities through a nomination and selection process, which means the chosen charities, will be the beneficiaries of any fundraising undertaken by employees over the next year.

Neil Barnes at Benenden Healthcare says, "Staff overwhelmingly voted for the Alzheimer’s Society as our national charity of the year. St Leonard’s Hospice, based in York, was also a very popular choice for our local charity of the year, following previous fundraising. We have got some great fundraising opportunities lined up over the summer, including entering a team in the York Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge and employees running in the Jane Tomlinson 10K."
