AXA PPP healthcare launches Corporate Health Plan Pathways

AXA PPP healthcare has a new private medical insurance plan for employers insuring 75 or more employees. Corporate Health Plan Pathways offers the same levels of cover as other large insurance plans but when scheme members seek a consultation with a specialist for investigation or treatment of a medical condition, rather than having their GP refer them to a named specialist, they obtain an open referral and the insurer directs them to a suitable healthcare provider.

By having a network of approved providers including physiotherapists, hospitals and scanning centres, the insurer has lower costs and can pass savings on to companies in the form of lower premiums. Employees can choose to be treated near to home or near to work.
