The AXA PPP healthcare experience

AXA PPP healthcare has posted 33 new videos on its website to help people understand the ins and outs of undergoing private medical treatment.

The videos bring alive how it looks and feels to be cared for in the private healthcare sector. Four medical conditions are featured - cataract surgery, gall bladder removal, knee joint replacement and CyberKnife cancer treatment, filmed at BMI The Clementine Churchill Hospital in London, BMI The Meriden Hospital in Coventry, the London Clinic on Harley Street and the Spire Bushey Hospital in Watford, with input from four consultants who specialise in treatment of these conditions.

Simon Miller of AXA PPP healthcare says, "This is a small but important step - painting a picture of the patient journey in the private healthcare sector, which, for anyone who has yet to undergo hospital treatment or is new to private healthcare, can be a daunting prospect.”

The insurer is running a series of three online video teaser adverts on Mail Online, ITV, Channel 4 and Gardeners' World. There is an element of surprise to the teaser adverts when the luxury 5 star surroundings and service are revealed as the private hospital experience.
