Aviva has re-entered the health cash plan market with the launch of My Health Cash Plan, a flexible, cost effective health cash plan.
It allows you to choose from a range of additional cover and cost cutting options to tailor benefits to meet your individual needs and budget.
Core cover offers up to 100% re-imbursement towards a range of everyday health services up to a set maximum benefit limit. These include; dental and optical treatment (100%), therapies such as physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractics, homeopathy and acupuncture, prescriptions and GP charges, and health screens (80%).
It includes a baby bonus, unlimited calls to 24/7 GP and stress counselling helplines and discounted gym membership of between 15% and 40% at a nationwide network of health and fitness clubs.
You can select from a range options:
- Increased reimbursement to 100% on all core health benefits
- In-patient and day-patient cash benefits, x-rays, scans and specialist second opinion as a private patient and a child support cash benefit
- Chiropody, podiatry and dietary advice and allergy testing
You can cut costs by reducing your reimbursement level to 60% (except dental and optical which remains at 100%), and/or remove the dental and optical cover.
Instead of having set maximum benefit amounts for each benefit within the module, you can choose how to allocate the money. For example, with the dental and optical benefit you have the flexibility to use the £250 purely on dental treatment, on optical treatment, or a mixture of both.
A corporate version will be launched later on this year.
