Nuffield Hospitals has announced plans to spend £10.5 million on its hospital in north Leamington Spa.
The refurbishment at
Nuffield Hospital Warwickshire, which is located on Old Milverton Lane, will involve all patient rooms, as well as ward improvements, infection prevention measures, and improved diagnosis and treatment facilities.
There will also be an extension to the hospital's ground floor area, including consulting rooms and a new physiotherapy suite, as well as renovations to the reception area.
General manager Edward Goldsmith told the Warwick Courier: "Because the hospital is owned by a long-established and successful independent healthcare charity, we are able to plan for the long-term, certain in the knowledge that we can deliver on our promises."
The charitable trust was established in 1981 and the hospital became part of Nuffield Hospitals - a not-for-profit organisation - in 1994.
It currently boasts 43 beds in modern rooms with en-suite facilities and three major theatres.
