People in the UK are
finding that cosmetic dentistry procedures are becoming more affordable due to new finance options such as
monthly payments.
Dr Pravesh Solanki from cosmeticdentistryguide.co.uk said that the Inman
Aligner and Damon braces are now very popular among British adults looking to
straighten their teeth and such options were no longer beyond the budget of
most people.
He explained that cosmetic dentistry procedures can also have the added benefit
of correcting structural problems like malocclusions and bite issues.
"This depends on the actual issue. In many cases, orthodontics can help to
correct bite problems and crowding but in more severe cases, surgery may be
required," stated Dr Solanki.
Anyone thinking about cosmetic dentistry should insure that they have a good
level of underlying oral hygiene, said the dentist, adding that many issues
such as teeth rotting and falling out are actually caused by gum disease and
other infections.
