The government's announcement that it intends to halt progress of the Health and Social Care Bill through parliament has been welcomed by Simplyhealth.
Jamie Wilson at Simplyhealth says, "When the government first announced its plans for the NHS, it said it wanted to put patients at the heart of the service. However, it has failed to convince the public and many health professionals about the reforms. We believe health is the most important thing of all, and the NHS is central to the health of the nation. NHS success is in everybody's interests and we hope that slowing down the reforms will ensure that any changes made are for the better."
