Pioneer pays 94% of income protection claims

Pioneer paid 94 per cent of income protection claims made in 2009. The insurer has listed the most common cause of illness and injury; muscular and skeletal injuries accounted for almost one in five of all claims, closely followed by operations, back and neck injuries and fractures.
