Liverpool’s economic development company, Liverpool Vision, has signed a deal with health cash plan provider Medicash to encourage staff to take a proactive approach to looking after their health.
The 50 strong workforce will now be able to benefit from a range of benefits including on-site health screening, discounted gym membership and a Best Doctors service that allows people to access expert second medical opinion over the phone.
Alison Appleton at Liverpool Vision says, “We wanted to find a way to encourage staff to look after their health so we looked at several potential partners. Medicash is a well established local provider and worked with us to create a package that we felt would help staff to think about their health and well-being with a prevention is better than cure approach. The feedback from staff has been very positive.”
