Care at Home a leading care in the home specialist, has introduced a new ‘Carer of the Year’ award. It has been designed to encourage carers to want to compete for the top slot of excellence.
In order to obtain the carer of the year award their care team will be looking to make sure that the carer has kept up-to-date with their training throughout the year; had good time keeping, and has an unblemished record during all the spot-checks made throughout the year.
Care at Home feels that this award will make the carers feel proud to work for the company and it will encourage them to strive for excellence to fulfil the company’s aim of providing a high quality of live in homecare.
All carers are required to obtain formal qualifications in caring through the government-backed system of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).
