ALC Health is to open an office in Malta as it continues its expansion plans across Europe. ALC Health Malta will be located in the town of Sliema and all business through the office will be coordinated by the office in Spain.
At the last census in 2005 the number of foreign residents in Malta had surpassed the 12,000 mark and at that time the number of foreign nationals living in Malta had increased to three percent. Figures from the census showed that 4713 expats came from the UK and accounted for a third of foreigners with smaller numbers of 585 Italians, 518 Germans and 127 French.
Andrew Apps of ALC Health says, “The interest in our product and the number of customers we have in Malta is now significant and is continuing to grow steadily, and we have therefore decided to make a commitment, and open our first office on the island. Malta is fast becoming an alternative choice to Spain or Portugal for Brits who are looking to move abroad. It has always been a popular destination for holidaymakers and many are looking to settle enticed by the good weather and helped by the fact that English is widely spoken.”
